Psalm 78:64-66

⁶⁴Their priests fell by the sword [1 Sam. 4:12–22],
but their widows were not allowed to cry.

⁶⁵Then the Lord ·got up [awoke] as if he had been asleep;
·he awoke like a man [^Llike a soldier] who had been ·drunk with [shouting/singing because of] wine.
⁶⁶He struck ·down [^Lback] his enemies
and ·disgraced them forever [^Lplaced on them eternal scorn/reproach].
